"Hard" in what way? Forestry allows for manual rebalancing of its recipes, CoFH Core allows ore spawn tweaking, and you can change some stuff in GregTech's DynamicConfig.cfg as well.
and waaait, you say that GregTech is too EASY? Sorry, but GT is one of the hardest mods out there. If you want a different challenge, try TerraFirmaCraft on a standalone installation. It's a complete Minecraft revamp which makes quite a few things more realistic, but isn't compatible with anything.

I meant like in Forestry's config you can turn on insane mode for bee breeding. And TerraFirmaCraft is very confusing.
