for some reason I cannot get this mod working- like I am unable to make any books in a book binder... nor make a linking book from a basic book... :/ 

 

current versions (in ftb title):

Minecraft: 1.5.2

MCP: v7.51

FML: v.5.2.23.737

Minecraft Forge: 7.8.1.737

 

if you do know hpw to fix this problem (if there is a solution) please explain in detail- nooblet here

In 1.5 a Linking Book is 1 Leather and a Linking Panel.

I have seen the videos on youtube, and following it exactly... its happening when trying to use the tool forge as well... im starting to have the feeling that I may have to restart the whole ftb mod...

If you watched a video tutorial for Mystcraft v0.10.x and followed it exactly, you wouldn't have tried to make a linking book from a basic book. That was the procedure in older versions of the mod. Now, you need a piece of leather and a linking panel, from an Ink Mixer.

 

Do you have screenshots of what you're trying to put into the Tool Forge?

(unfortunately I cant seem to get screen shots up here...) well it doesn't say on how to make the linking book, anyway I did have the leather in the top left corner as implied and having pages in the book binder to create a random generated world- no book in the top right corner like in the video... everything I have done was matching the video... so idk what the problem is...

The most important page of any descriptive or linking book is the Linking Panel. Did you have one of those as the first page in the book binder?
