Hi

I crashed in a Mystcraft instance yesterday and have not been able to log on since. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. Can get on with another user account.

 

Cannot disable Mystcraft and still play.

 

Forced update.

 

Completely reinstalled.

The problem is actually not Mystcraft, it's one of the so-called Tile Boxes from Dartcraft. If you pick up a tile entity with a Force Wrench and convert it to an item, it sometimes creates an item named "Tile Box" instead, which can crash the game at times. The easiest solution would be to clear your inventory with a program like InvEdit and then cheat all other items back with NEI.

Yes I had force wrench items.

 

It looks like InvEdit is for local games/single player only.  Would my server admin have to do it for me?  Is this still the correct tool from the server side?

Yes, you can also use InvEdit with specific players on a server. The server admin would have to do that though, but if you explain the problem to him and say that you can't login anymore he'll probably help you.
