How do you put molten metal from a Tinkers' Construct into an empty bucket?

I think I read somewhere that you need to pipe it out and use a special metal bucket... but I couldn't find much help when googling that myself and it may be wrong...

You just drain it into a basin the basin has to be full and right click with a bucket

Or put a bucket in a basin and pour the metal in.
Or pump the metal into a tank and bucket it out of there.
