You can place a Seared Faucet on a Drain above the smeltery and pump liquid metal into the drain (ironic, huh?) Might also work by directly pumping into a drain, but it might have to face the opposite direction. Go to the full post »

Hello,

On a couple Mystcraft ages, I found a lot of Molten Emerald and Molten Steel. However, the problem is that I don't know how to insert it into the Smeltery! Here is the list of solutions I have tried:

- Pour a bucket of Molten Liquid into the Smeltery

- Pour a bucket of Molten Liquid into the Smeltery controller via the GUI

- Pour a bucket of Molten Liquid into the Smeltery controller via right-click

- Use Buildcraft to pump the Molten Liquid into the Smeltery Controller or other blocks, excluding: Seared Window, Seared Tank.

Is there a successful solution to this problem?

While I haven't tried it myself, if you're going to pump liquids in or out of a smeltery, you need to go through the smeltery drain, not the controller.
