Horizons v1.0.7

Open NEI and search for name and you'll find about 300 items with names like

tile.tmechworks.dynamo.name 1802

Are these items usable, or are they broken and nonfunctional?

If nonfunctional, is it due to how the modpack was put together or due to mod authors having incomplete projects (or both)?

Will they eventually be fixed by the time of the full release of the modpack?

The specific item you reference looks like it's supposed to be the placed-in-world version of an item, not anything you'd legitimately have in your inventory. It's impossible to tell if items are functional or not based on having their name ending in ".name"; this just means that it hasn't been assigned a name, and is only being identified by its forge item registration (in this case, 'tile.tmechworks.dynamo'). It's especially apparent with certain fluids. The mod authors have probably not included a name for these items either because they're not expected to be acquirable in that form, because an item is a work in progress, or because they simply haven't assigned a name yet.

Yeah, they need to be localized. That is just what their names are when they haven't been localized, and is their default unlocalized name.

It's what happens if the mod authors haven't registered a name for those items.

Hope I helped!
