Hi there,

In my attempts to try to load up a modpack for a Minecraft version past 1.5.2 I have had the same issue.

The issue is that the pack seems to download (and there is some evidence of it in the folders created) however it will not run when launch is activated. Here is a pastebin showing the log:

http://pastebin.com/deLnHq7s

I have done the following:

Reinstalled Java several times on Chrome, IE and, offline versions (both 32 and 64 bit) with a full and complete uninstall.

Reinstalled FTB launcher several times

Forced update the modpack (direwolf20) several times

Deleted all the modpack folders

And several other attempts at various other combinations to get it to work with no success

A friend of mine installed it an ran the modpack fine, with no playing around.

I am aware that this is a beta (Direwolf20 1.6.4) however the FTBlite2, Horizons etc dont seem to be and I have the same issue with those packs.

If you have a moment, perhaps you can help me solve this issue and in turn help the beta program.

Thank you kindly,

Jus

No sooner did I post this and I seem to have it working.

Here is what I did:

Fresh install of Java on all my browsers and and offline 64 install
Deleted the Versions  and Libraries folder in the FTB folder

selected force download Direwolf20 1.6.4
Hit launch and downloaded all the files again...

waited through a tonne of errors and the single player started up

Seems to work so far.
