I have a friend who just recently 'discovered' minecraft (Ya, they still exist...)

And predictably enough, said friend is becoming a tiny bit bored with vanilla minecraft.

So I want to unleash feed the beast on my friend.

However, I run an old mix of standard and non-standard FTB mods - and its so long since I actually compiled that mod list that I can't remember which is which.

So....

1) If my friend just gets FTB and starts up unleashed, can she join a multiplayer game with me even if she has a few mods activated that I have deactivated, plus me running a few mods that she might not have?

2) Is there a way to get the launcher to show me the 'original' FTB mod list so I can compare with what I have? I've looked at the wiki, but when I compare that to the mod list in the launcher I see stuff called "appeng-rv13-c-mc15x" and a lot other weird names that just makes my head spin

...plus I am 100% positive that I also added one or two mods to the mix myself, and I cannot tell them apart from the default unleashed list

Please advice

The answer to your first question is no. If you want to play on the same world or server, you need EXACTLY the same mod configuration. The easiest way to give your current modpack configuration to someone else is to copy that pack's folder to the other computer. In your case it will be a folder called "Unleashed" in the same location as the FTB launcher. Just copy that over to your friend's FTB folder, see if it runs and you should be fine. This will also copy any settings or worlds that you may have, but as these can easily be changed/deleted that shouldn't be a problem.
