I need some help uploading maps. Any suggestion of what i should use? I don't want to use adfly because-its just plane annoying.

If you aren't looking for any profit, than I would just use Media Fire. Easy to use, and plenty of memory. Other wise, I would think that Adfly is the best option, although I have never used it.

File Transport Protocol, gives low level access to a storage system on a server.

An FTP account would allow you to upload the maps without having to go through an alternate website. Seeing as how you have no idea at what FTP even is, now I'm hesitant to give you server space.

And i'm sure that a lot of people wouldn't know what FTP would mean.

FTP is simply the process to upload a file from your computer to a web server. From there, people viewing the web server would be browsing a website.
