Hello all,

I seem to be having a problem running FTB packs. After a long absence from Minecraft (say, since the very beginning of Monster), I decided to try Agrarian Skies. The first time I launched it, the game was painfully laggy and for all intents ad purposes unplayable. Afterwards, I decided to update Java and increase my available RAM for FTB to use. However, whenever I click on a pack and try to launch it, the Launcher closes abruptly, followed a second or two later by the Console. So far, this has happened for every pack I have installed, save for FTB Lite. Here's a Pastebin link to the FTBLauncherLog:

Is there any quick fix for this, or am I out of luck? I was really looking forward to playing Agrarian Skies and all those other awesome packs.

Thanks in advance for your help.

This isn't a crash log so I can't see your windows or java versions, so unfortunately the following is all speculation:

If no packs except for Lite work then I assume you have 32 bit java. 32 bit java cannot withstand large modpacks and Lite is the only ftb pack designed to work with it. Try uninstalling the 32 bit java and picking up a 64 bit copy of java.

Did just that, even with 64-bit /java, no dice. The Launcher flat out won't open. I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times... Any ideas?

Do you have a 64-bit operating system, or were you trying to run 64-bit java on a 32-bit system? (that won't work)

I have Windows 7 64-bit, so that's not the issue. Actually, as soon as I posted previously I tried another rewipe of all things FTB and redownloaded the launcher, and lo and behold! It finally loaded Agrarian Skies. Unfortunately, the FPS was so cringeworthingly low that it rendered Minecraft unplayable, even with the ideal video settings and java. Of course, after closing out of FTB and attempting to retry playing, the launcher will execute perfectly, but Agrarian Skies refuses to launch. This problem just seems to evolve and evolve. Sorry if I'm being a nuisance with my ever changing situation, but are there any fixes for this? Where can I find a crash log for you guys, should I need to supply one?

EDIT: Okay, so at this point the Launcher refuses to open once again. I again deleted all my FTB stuff and reinstalled Java (both 64 and 32 bit), as well as the .exe launcher. Click. Nothing happens. Weird, because it still makes an ftblauncher folder in my AppData, even though I deleted it previously. Unfortunately, I can't get a crash log because there's no way to get into the launcher.
