Question about Mod config files

So I started a FTB Monster 1.1.0 Server on my computer and I wanted to add special mobs to it but it doesn't seem to work same thing with a couple of other mods like ore spawn the game will run but nothing from either mod exists all the files came in the server files already I added Special Mobs from the Launcher and I added Ore Spawn to my launcher and neither work 

 

However I added morph mod to my launcher and it worked fine I don't remember how to change things in the configure file if anyone would be nice enough to help me with this it would be greatly appreciated

Are the mods the same version as the pack? Can you post a console log? Are the files in the /mods folder? 

Configs are .txt files the mod uses to identify how to work, etc. They are located in the ftb install folder/monster/minecraft/config. Find the config you want to change, open it up with notepad, and change what you want to change. Be sure MC is closed, save it, and relaunch. BE CAREFUL! Pay attention! Configs can be tricky, and can easily break a mod if edited incorrectly. Editing these is not for the faint of heart.

The Problem is I don't see anything out of the ordinary in the though it is going by so fast its hard to catch it all and all the mods came by default in the server files when I downloaded them from the FTB website

 

However Orespawn and Morph are not part of the launcher so I tried them separately if you can msg me on skype possibly would be easier to figure out what you need to see better ?

No thats the thing there is no freeze no crash the game runs just fine just doesn't have anything in it from the mobs

If you add new mods to the pack you'll have to add them in the launcher with the Edit Mods menu and put them in the server's mods folder. Also if you did any changes to the configs on the client you'll have to copy them over to the server as well.

I there are no blocks items from the mods I added I added them both to the client through the launcher and they were already in the server files when i downloaded the server I haven't touched the config files cause I don't know how to edit them properly
