Extracting with pipes without engines?

Hey everyone, I would like to automate my UU-Matter production with pipes bringing it to a chest. I've got 24 mass fabricators so it takes an important room, and I don't want to use engines to pump out the UU-Matter out of the fabricators, so I tried the "Automatic Emerald Pipes", but they don't work. :(

 

Can someone tell me how can I extract all of my UU-Matter without engines?

thx a lot :D

You gotta right click on the pipes to configure them to output UU-matter.

 

Heres some more info: Emerald Pipe

 

Do it with a bare hand.

Yeah, I put a UU-Matter in the filter, but it still doesn't work. :(

 

How does the autharchic gates work?

I think you have to give the automatic pipe a redstone signal (e. g. lever) to start working.
As for the autarchic gates, place them on any extraction pipe and set up a condition, such as "Redstone Signal On -> Energy Pulser".
