sorry if this is a stupid question 
but whenever i try to launch Direwolfs modpack using the recommended version and tries to load one of his saved maps i get a bunch of missing textures pop up such as portals and magical forests, what did i do wrong?

Only one of the maps available from the FTB launcher is for Minecraft 1.6, the rest are from Season 5 in Minecraft 1.4. You have to get Season 6 maps from http://www.minecraft.../topic/1513504-
