Ok since we get limited points to spend in Thaumcraft I was wondering what it takes to get the Recharge Pedestal to show up for research in the book?

As long as you're scanning everything you ever encounter with your Thaumometer, you can get enough Research Points to unlock everything, even in Agrarian Skies (and you can even boost that with the Deconstruction Table if you want). If you meant how limited the sources of Vis appear, there are ways to get more without recharging at nodes.

But to answer your question: the Recharge Pedestal appears at the top of the Thaumaturgy tab. I know you need to have unlocked Infusion under Artifice before it will be available, but I don't know if there are any other requirements.

Ahhah! Infusion. Thanks, that's what I was looking for.

As for recharging in other ways... yes I know about them. I just would rather be able to put my wand or staff onto the pedestal and do other things as it recharges withouy my direct help. SOO much to do and being able to multitask is kinda nice.

heh And I guess its time to start taking out 1 of everything in my AE system and scanning it with a Thaumometer. /sigh. This is gonna take a while. Well at least I wont likely ever need any more Vacuos after that deep storage scan.
