I encountered a weird bug when I opened my last survival save.. multiple chunks had been filled with horses what made my game run at 1 fps near my base. The problem occured right after i had backed up my save.

 

When I go back to title screen and attempt to open the save again i get a crash with following report:

Tried to delete Optifine that was suggested in the crash report, but the problem remains the same. Even opening the backup after deleting Optifine doesnt help.  Luckily i have an older bacup save not too far from where i was and that seems to work just fine, but would be nice to know what might have caused the horse invasion.

 

I tried /cofh killall <Horse> command, but doesn't seem to work, maybe it only works with hostile mobs. Is there some other command for 1.6.4 Minecraft to get rid of neutral entities?

 

Personally i have nothing against horses, but too much is too much

WOAH.

Sorry, I don't know what happened, though I have seen similar (smaller-scale) cases. Maybe some mod had a loop for spawning a horse, and it accidentally looped many times, but I don't know. Did you do something horse-related?
