Hey all, 

I recently started playing FTB and I have a question.  After watching youtube videos of gameplay it seems like I'm missing something.  I have seen players show on screen the distance to certain things (the end, villages, other players, etc.) I was wondering if there is a way to turn this on? I'm not seeing it on my screen.

I am not sure but by default the "ZansMinimap1.6.4" may be disabled, you have to enable it by editing the mod pack, which is a button in your FTB launcher.  You then can mark waypoint locations an such, by pressing m by default, however it may be a conflicting key. I think its "voxelmap" for the keybind, I forget atm, going off memory. Hope this helps!

 

There are other types of minimaps/waypoint/distance mods out there, just as a FYI.

In the Edit Modpack screen, it's Zan's minimap, but in-game, it's listed under Voxelmap.
