Hello,
there is no Bedrock above Layer 0, so it seems to be impossible for the machines to produce dust bedrock ...
is there a way, in survival, to produce bedrock dust ?
Best regards,

Unfortunately this modpack runs with flat bedrock enabled in COFH by default. Just checked the nether and the deep dark ceilings and they are both flat. Flat bedrock can be turned off in CoFHWorld.cfg. That won't changed already generated chunks but newly generated chunks won't have flat bedrock afterwards.
Thanks for your answers.
I have not yet modified the config file CoFHWorld.cfg ;
I have not already try to mine it, but i found mineable bedrock under the top of Nether, as a friend of me remained me that there is few ways to go over the roof of Nether, and also the last layers under the ceiling contains actually bedrock blocks on this modpack
Thanks for the tip about CoFHWorld.cfg, seems to be a good and simply way.
So, in my mind i found (with your helpfull) 2 solutions for my initial question :
- config file CoFHWorld.cfg ;
- the last layers under the roof of the Nether ;
As I'm new user of this forum, Thanks to administrators to mark this topic "closed" or "solved" as necessary
Picture 1 : mineable bedrock on the Nether (just under the top):
Picture 2 : a curious place for stone (probably the replacement of bedrock's blocks) on the floor of the Nether :
twinkle : thanks to have feed the Tagada
