Hello!

 

My name is Matt and I've been running a server for about a month and I've been having a great time. The only problem is that I've been on here all by myself.

 

Sooo... I'd like to open the server up to a few people. The atmosphere will be laid back. People who join will be whitelisted. You can find a corner of the world to call your own, or you can join up with a few others if you'd prefer. No griefing of course.

 

The server uses the Monster Mod Pack + the Immibis Core and Tubestuff. Essentials is up and running as well. Oh and I've installed a patch to fix a bug with IC2 Nano Armor.

 

I've been in the habit of backing up the server once a day.

 

I'm thinking 5-6 new players... and if it stays in that range I'll cover all the costs.

 

There's no formal application... just send me a message and say a little about yourself!

I've been looking for a server like yours for quite a while and let me tell ya, it's hard enough to find something close to what I want. So heres my info:
IGN: ^《----
Age:17
Location: 2 hour drive from L.A. all I'm saying.
What mods I know: Tinkers Construct, Thermal Expansion, basics of AE, Buildcraft, rough knowledge of IndustrialCraft2exp and Thaumcraft.
What mods I plan on getting into: RotaryCraft and its addons (I might try to convince you to update to the last updates for 1.6.).
Pranks: I would prank back if pranked, beyond that I wouldn't prank.

I do like exploring as I like to see what Minecraft has to offer.

I apologize for taking a few days to respond. That's totally my fault!

 

BUT!!! I've just about gotten to the end of my current game and I think I'm going to start a new game up. This would be ideal since we'd all be starting at about the same time!

 

I'd definitely love to have you on the server!

Oh and I've been watching Direwolf videos the last couple of days and saw that he uses the morph and graveblocks mods... I was thinking of adding those on top as well... but I'd want other people's input if it's truly going to be multiplayer!

The new server is up and running! It's Feed The Beast Monster with a couple extra mods.

Just download those three files and put them in your mods folder using the FTB launcher. It's really easy and I've tested them in a previous world and they definitely work.

 

I wasn't able to get the grave mod or the morph mod to work. But unless someone else really wants them I'm not going to worry about it. They look cool, but they're not essential.

 

It looks like a couple people are going to join! If anyone else still wants to join, just message me!

I'm whitelisted right? The error code seems to say the server kicked me off...

I haven't turned on any blacklisting/whitelisting yet so it shouldn't be kicking you off. I'll be looking into it as well!

What version of Java are you running?

Here's the version that I'm running:

 

 

I doubt that the version of Java that I'm running on my computer would affect yours though. The server itself is hosted by Nitrous Networks and they're generally stable. I looked up the error on google and most people were saying that you need to uninstall java on your computer and reinstall it.

I just updated to 1.7.0_71, so that should've fixed it, but it didn't...

I'm not sure what the problem could be. I don't think it's a server-side issue though because another player has been able to get on and I don't think he had any problems. Maybe someone else on this site might know? Maybe we should start a thread specifically on the error message?
