I'm pretty sure most of you know by now that I have quite a few problems with this pack XD

One day on my private server, I randomly decided to craft and place an inverted sky block in my world cause I thought it would look cool. Right after I placed it, my client crashed. The server stayed though, just my client. After reopening DW20 1.7 and getting back on the server, my client crashed again, and again, server stayed fine. I'm not sure if my friend's client will crash too because he hasn't got on today yet. How can I get back in without crashing (I've already tried 3 times)?! Do I have to somehow remove the block from the world without actually being in the game? And if I do, how? Btw, I host the server.

The simplest solution would be: if you have a recent backup, revert to it. The best solution would be to shut down the server, make a backup, open up the world in MCEdit (recent versions do support modded worlds), delete the offending block, save the world, and restart the server. The sloppy approach is to shut down the server, make a backup, disable OpenBlocks, launch the server, and connect. This will remove all OpenBlocks items in the area, including the problem block. You'd then shut down the server, re-enable OpenBlocks, and start again.

If you have a crash report from your client, it's possible we could find a different solution (if the problem comes from a texture pack or Optifine or something not apparent from what you've posted here), but the three ways listed above should get rid of that Sky Block for you.

I know I seem like an idiot, but how do I load my world? The only worlds it can load are the ones that are the saves of my vanilla Minecraft.

I've never actually used MCEdit, I just know it can be used for this sort of problem. I suppose you could copy your world to the vanilla Minecraft directory ("%AppData%\.minecraft\saves" on Windows).

Woah no, you don't have to be THAT drastic.

With MCEdit it is possible to find the location of the sky block and specifically replace the sky block with an air block.

It is just a little difficult to explain how to since using MCEdit well takes some practice, I am sure there are some guides that explain it better than I could.

Ok, since I'm not an expert at MCEdit, I decided to just use one of my backups and replace the world. I already knew about that, it's just that I forgot what I did before I placed the sky block down and didn't want to lose the progress. Anyway, I'm just glad that the problem is fixed and thanks for the help! I posted this on the actual FTB forums a few hours ago, and then after a few hours, posted on this one, and nobody has responded on that one yet. I can always depend on you guys and this forum/wiki!

I'm too late, am I?

In MCEdit, there are two Open World buttons. I can't remember the exact names for them because I'm not at my computer, but one of the buttons will open your Minecraft folder and one will allow you to open any level.dat anywhere.

I was referring to "the sloppy" one.
