Hello, I'm new to this forum and have recently started playing FTB now that I have a powerful enough computer. FTB has been great however the game seems to randomly crash and doesn't seem to be linked to an action like using a machine. I have been able to receive the game logs from this action and pasted them below.

MinecraftLog.txt:

From what I see in the error log above is that when the game is saving the world, it is randomly thrown a Fatal Error and it gives a more detailed report in hs_err_pid7236.log

Here is hs_err_pid7236.log:

Other info that may be helpful:
- System:
Amd Fx-8320 8-core
Nvidia GTX 760
8GB ram

- 3.5 GB allocated to FTB
- FTB Monster Version: v1.1.1(most recent to my knowledge)
- Crashes occur on both multiplayer and single player
- Results in partial loss of progress and items since last game auto-save (player inventories sometimes are saved but not world stuff like chests)

I'm pretty much clueless as to what all this means. Hopefully someone with more expertise will be able to help me out. Thank You.

It looks like you are using Java 8, which tends to cause problems. Downgrading to Java 7 should fix it.

1.6 modpack? Download Java 7 here. 1.7.10+? Download Java 8 here.

Thanks a bunch for your feedback! I was looking at some other topics of people having crashes and turns out that most of them are solved by downgrading to java 7. Thus I have downgraded and haven't had any crashes thus far.
