If Power Converters is in the pack (can't remember off the top of my head if it is) you should try using that. It can output up to 8192 EU/t, which is the highest rate supported by standard IC2 cables.

A trick I used in 1.6, which should still work in 1.7 (though I haven't tested it), was to exploit the fact that Modular Powersuits can use both types of energy. I made three Power Armour Gloves, each with a maxed-out top-tier battery. These would be charged using RF (in 1.6 I used an Energetic Infuser, but I believe in 1.7 you'd be better off with an EnderIO capacitor bank or Extra Utilities Energy Transfer Node), and when one is full, be pulled out and set to discharge into an MFSU. Then when that Glove was empty, it would be sent back to recharge again, and another full glove would enter the MFSU.

Hah, that's a good idea.
