I made a template for the Redstone Furnace. The problem is that it really just provides an alternative to the Furnace, so recipes are all the same, but the required energy does differ. So, to use or not to use?

How does the energy differ?

EDIT:

If there is a set coded difference we can just have a page of recipes because there has to be a generic energy amount for the noncoded stuff...

Have you looked at the page?

I'm not sure I understand what you're proposing.

If you checked the page, it's 1600RF for ore-type smelting into ingots and 1000RF for dust-type to ingots.

I checked the page, I did not memorize the entire thing nor did I look past the first use of the template.

So what about everything else?

If all ores are 1600 and all dusts are 1000 then jut do a single page and list everything.

IIRC raw meat is cheaper to restonefurnace as well, might be half of normal cost (800 RF). I say we keep the template (for examples on the Redstone Furnace page) but we don't list all furnace recipes a second time with the Redstone Furnace template. The RF cost rules are very simple and can be explained in a few words or a table on the Redstone Furnace article.

I say that we make a subsection and list all of the RF amounts.

Ores, dust, logs, and meat.
