Wall of red text, MC process exited; client launch failure

crash unable to launch

Best Answer SirPersonJr , 16 October 2015 - 12:48 AM

I believe the problem exists with this, [launchwrapper-1.11.jar:?]  . Try using the 'force update' option in the options tab on the launcher.

Also to change your IGN on the forums, go to your profile and click on 'edit my profile' in the upper right corner. At the bottom is an option to change your IGN.

Console log here, I have no idea what is happening: http://paste.feed-th...m/view/6903f59f

yellow text starts at line 46, red text starts at line 54

Attempt to launch client, main launcher window closes, waits a few seconds, throws a wall of errors to console, reopens main launcher window. No MC client window opens.

Trying with the latest (to my knowledge) Direwolf and Infinity packs, both throw same errors. (It takes long enough to download packs that I don't really want to try many more to see the same error.) Vanilla minecraft launches/runs fine. Not installed in same directory (\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft vs. \documents\minecraft\ftb). Moving FTB to desktop didn't help. Password is correct. Already rebooted computer. Error has been persistent over a few days.

As far as I know I have 64 and 32bit java both installed, if that makes any difference. I remember having to do that before to make something work right.

It's been a really long time since I've messed with Minecraft / FTB (as in, before vanilla MC's weird launcher/profile thing, and the first time i've used on this install of windows) and I really don't know what to try from here.

((edit: very off topic, but how do you change your IGN on these forums?... i changed mine, if that affects anything))

Sweet, it's launching now. Thanks!

As for the IGN thing, at the very bottom? I only see gender, location, interests, and modpack.

That's weird, for me the IGN option is between Interests and Modpack. I do believe as an Admin I can change it for you if it doesn't work.

Yeah, that's where I thought it'd be too, somewhere around there. My new IGN is BlauRascon if you could change it for me, that would be awesome, I'm not sure how to make the option show up.
