Randomly crashing in minecraft for no particular reason

In the Options tab of the FTB launcher, how much RAM are you allocating to Minecraft? It looks like you may have this set to ~8GB, when your system only has 8GB. If so, try dropping it to 6GB or so; Windows itself needs some of your RAM, so you can't assign it all to Minecraft.
