Hi there guys!

So I was just building a quarry when i remembered that i need more power to run it.

 

I'm here to ask:

 

What power generation do you started with?

 

What mid-tear did you use? (If any at all)

 

What kind of power setup do you have right now? 

 

 

Me first!

My world is just 2 days old, so.

I've started with some Survivalist Generator and Furnace Generators, then I've moved on to Lava Generators and right now i'm building a infinite lava generator for the quarry. (I've made an objective to not use the nether lava).

 

This is my progression what is yours?

 

Maybe some of you answers will spark some idea in someones mind!

I usually go for the dynamos from Thermal Expansion

 

Steam dynamos to begin with - just add coal and water, simple enough

 

Then for a mid-game setup I get my oil on, refineries, and a bunch of compression dynamos with water and fuel. This usually powers a nice Ender Quarry - though I might have to turn it off every now and then to maintain power for all my other machines.

 

For endgame I go full Big Reactors - that'll power everything non-stop, especially if I splurge and go steam dynamo on it
