Am i blind, or what, there is no support for SF 2.5.. And everything from 2.4 or 2 or whatever its called, works different, so you tube or google is no help.. But i am playing via Curse, and i've seen youtubers craft DEV/NULL yet i cant craft it, and there is not NEI item, but there is a config file on it..

Well how do the youtubers craft it?

A piece of cobble and an apple.. NEI does not show the item anymore, and the crafting recipe no longer crafts the item.. Same for the Eldritch dimension, cant find any info on how to craft the items, since i can not understand thaumcraft or the book, looks like i get screwed out of it..

If NEI doesn't show the item then wow...

There might be a config option that turns it off for some reason.

 

NEI will not show recipes for Thaumcraft things that you do not have the research for.

How would i go about figuring out Thaumcraft, i searched google, but there is not like any walkthoughs, i got a ton of research shards, the knowledge fragments, was able to create a few extra knowledge nodes in the little station they had me build, and i can farm more knowledge fragments to consume or to create the research paper.. But thats as far as iv'e gotten and that took 4 weeks to figure out.. I was able to find at the very bottom of the config file to enable /dev/null, ugh such a noob...

idk what version of Thaumcraft Sky Factory uses but one of these will help

Yeah, one of the wiki admins has documented all of Thaumcraft 4 thoroughly.

I found the thaum book, started it, but my problem is it makes no sense to me, nothing is clearly labeled, they just expect you to know everything, and the only thing i want to do is build the stupid portal kill the boss and check it off the list, looking at the wiki just has a bunch of links to the items, nothing about the portal, how to build one, or what to do.

Building the portal in a sky world is very unique, it might not yet be on the wiki since it only happens in sky maps and is usually different every time.

 

It is a LONG process to go from starting with the book to getting to that portal though, VERY long, actually no it is even longer than that.
