Hello

Ah, what to say here? I registered to try and help out with the wiki, as some entries are lacking in certain details meaning I have to hunt around/experiment to work them out. Personally, I prefer a visual approach to explaining how to do things as descriptions can only take you so far but I cannot work out how to add images as it doesn't seem to be as simple as it looks.

I often use this simplified 2D vector style similar to a circuit diagram (the one with the circles with X's for bulbs) as screenshots can be deceptive depending on the angle. Take for example the Nether portal, the texture makes it hard to count the number of blocks wide and high for a minimum size portal as they seem to blend together. I think that's effective but hard to be sure. Example linked as cannot attach.

How do I include images in wikis?

Hi and welcome! You can upload images to the wiki with the upload page: https://ftbwiki.org/Special:Upload
Then you can include them by linking to them, such as[[File:Image.png|thumb|200px|Caption]], something like that.
Please do keep in mind that we have a style guide: https://ftbwiki.org/...iki:Style_Guide
You can definitely illustrate articles with images, but entire articles can't be an image, of course.
