Hello, I'm not that fluent with writing wikis and I'm having trouble figuring out how to add images to a page. For example, on the LV Capacitor page, I was going to add mini screenshots showing which side is which regarding inputs and outputs. Given descriptions can be ambiguous I prefer to show rather than describe what to do and videos are harder to quickly check when looking for information.

I tried Insert Embedded File, Selected Files (the upload arrow) and Picture Gallery options but I get the error message "You are not allowed to edit the wiki through this API". Is there a page somewhere I can upload to and reference the image on a wiki page? I found the Help page left me none the wiser.

Thanks

P.s. My internet is unreliable and my page changes keep being reversed or ignored which is not helpful (I don't know why, I'm, not spamming, honest).

If you're part of a team or community that collaborates on the wiki, you can upload images to a shared drive or cloud storage service (such as Google Drive or Dropbox) and share the image links with other contributors who have permission to edit the wiki.
By using one of these methods, you should be able to add images to your wiki pages even if you encounter restrictions on direct image uploads. Remember to check the specific guidelines and policies of your wiki platform regarding image usage and attribution.

Adding images to wikis can be tricky, but one workaround is uploading them to a separate image hosting site (like Imgur) and then linking to them from your wiki page. If your changes keep getting reversed, try reaching out to a moderator or admin for help—they might have insights or be able to address any issues with your edits.
