I have tried bucket and can. Broke carpenter and put it somewhere else. Help please?

I can't insert seed oil into the carpenter. Any suggestions?

Ok I feel like a complete idiot. I am just too old I guess. Do other 60 year old men play minecraft?
The problem was, there are two different kinds of seed oil. 
But , nonetheless I got a new wrinkle in my brain today.

Try with tubes directly from Centrifuge if you can (If you have BuildCraft installed)

The modpack does not have BuildCraft. I't Feed the Beast presents DireWolf 20
on the Twitch launcher it says it is version 2.5.0 and on the MineCraft launcher it includes 1.12 but I think that means the MineCraft version I have 1.12.2

That did not work either. Does it matter which side it is on, I have tried all sides except the front.
The front being the one facing me when I place it down.

Try to open Carpenter and place fluid container into item slot with water drop drawn on it

Yes I have tried that, it did not work either. I guess I am resigned to going creative and get a bunch of impregnated casings.
