Is it possible to automate crude oil into fuel?

crude oil automate help

macerator > into chest > crafty turtle > extractor > oil buckets into liquid transposer, oil can go to tanks/refinerys  and the buckets can go back to the crafty turtle,

thats what I would/will use, though you would need to program the turtle to pull the sludge from the chest and craft them into the buckets.

I am wondering if it is fully possible to turn crude oil into fuel.

My current process is pumping the crude oil that my quarry mines up to a macerator. This then pumps the bituminous sludge into a autocrafting table which goes to an extractor. I am then stuck with an oil bucket which can be pumped into an iron tank and pumped to a refinery which would go to another iron tank but I can not pump the buckets back out of the iron tank to be used in the autocrafting table again.

Is their a different process I can do that will make this work/is it possible to pump the buckets out of the iron tank?

Thanks for taking the time to read.

I will test out some different approaches and report any findings shortly.

After doing some testes, I found it impossible to connect neither buildcraft pipes (excluding waterproof ones, but thats incompatible with items) nor redpower2 pipes to it, I tried connecting it to solid iron walls, glass walls and valves.

It seems like you have to run between with the empty buckets.

BTW, how do you pump the buckets in? I tried with both a relay and a transposer without any luck

Sorry that was a mistype on my part. It was along the line of me guessing not being able to actually do.

Thanks for taking the time and trying to figure something out.

could golems from thaumcraft be used for the bucket movement? or can they only move to and from cauldrons?

Thanks, that sounds like it would work, I'm going to go test that.

Thanks this works, I didn't need to use a crafty turtle, just needed to use the liquid transposer. This works great, thanks.
