So I checked the MFFS wiki guide thing, and it's quite different from what I have in Ampz.
Does anyone know where I can find a guide or does anyone have a good understanding of this?

There are two MFFS systems: MFFS Original and MFFS Calclavia. The latter one is included in Ampz, so you'll have to find a guide for that.
Yes, essentially the mod author gave two other authors permission to make MFFS (apparently), as he didn't want to make it any more. One was Minalien and the other Calclavia.

This. And the Original version (hence the name) is more like it was before, whereas Calclavia's works quite differently. Or looks differently at least
