These work only if the Twilight Forest mod is present.

Found an exploit? Post it below and I'll add it to the thread! Only post if it uses an Uncrafting Table.

The other thing with the tree farm at the top of this topic is that you can use the saplings for biomes, then biofuel, then tons of MJ's which can be converted to EU

This is such an awesome idea, I'm going to test this, but if anyone knows, does this work on Direwolf as well I assume? If so I'll move this from Mindcrack as it's uses will mostly like surpass the one pack.

This would work better if there were experience transport pipes, and you could fully automate it.

I tested it before I posted this topic. It indeed works.

Also, TheLaw, it takes out xp from the player that takes the first item out of the Table.

I don't think it can be fully automated, but whenever you need coal, just get lots of XP and lots of torches and head over to your Table.

The thing to test, though, is how much coal you can get in, say, 15 minutes vs a few quarries in a dense ore MystCraft world or something.

Any volunteers? Haha.

As far as I know, MystCraft isn't in MindCrack. In terms of coal though, I kind of see no reason to automate it as coal is very common and with a rock cutter and grinder you can have chests fully in a short amount of time (Rock Cutter has silk touch permanently and runs on EU and the grinder turns 1 coal ore block into 3-4 coal.)

Though if you really wanted automation, You could probably manage it from the saplings, all the way to the uncrafting table, Yet as you said, due to XP issues, it does require the final step to be manual labour. Though you could just have excess torches being pumped into a nearby barrel for whenever you need coal (and the uncrafting table being near the XP farm for easy access to the brain jars.)

MystCraft isn't needed for this though.

Just saying as you were comparing this process to a process not in the modpack.

I guess you could do it in FTB Beta A or add the mod in. Anyway the topic has been moved now.

So, I found a Logic Matrix Programmer in a dungeon chest, and I noticed that the recipe listed in NEI was a bit odd. It puts itself in it's own recipe, along with a Logic Matrix and a Dark Iron Ingot. While this recipe was originally meant for cloneing the item with a cost of those items, Twilight Forest adds the Uncrafting table, which can be used to switch the programmer into infinite profit at the cost of XP.

  1. Go to the Twilight Forest and find an Uncrafting table. You can also craft one if you find a Maze Map Focus.
  2. Stock pile on XP. You need 3 levels for every time you use the exploit.
  3. Grab your Programmer and place it in the Uncrafting table. In the crafting grid, 3 faded items should appear, as well as a number above the arrow.
  4. Click one of these faded items. The programmer is consumed, and you are left with a duplicate programmer, a Dark Iron Ingot, and a Logic Matrix.
  5. Rinse and Repeat. Your new Programmer can be used over and over, since it will always be duplicated. The Dark Iron you get can be used for anything you want, such as Bags of Holding, Barrel Upgrades, Wrath Lamps, etc.

Due to the amount of XP this requires, this cannot be automated, and, though cheap, is an inefficient and slow process. However, this can be a good substitute if you don't have access to a wrath igniter.

That's cool! The first dungeon I found on my world happened to have a Logic Matrix Programmer, so that's cool. I didn't expect it to work on a Factorization thingy.

EDIT: I merged the two together and renamed the thread, so now we have one thread on Uncrafting Table exploits. :)
