Let me guess: you middle-clicked a RedPower micropart or wireless redstone component while in creative. Unless you want to mess around with a data editor, you'll probably have to delete your player.dat to fix this (make a backup first though).

Does that cause crashes? It always gave me a Stone Cover instead of the item I clicked. Whatever.

Depending on what you're selecting, yes, it can create a bugged-out item in your inventory that crashes the game.

You could try using an inventory editing program to manually remove any RedPower microblocks from your inventory... other than that, there isn't much that I could think of.

(The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open)

Either you had EnderStorage.cfg open in some other program, you had 2 instances of Minecraft open (one may have been from earlier on and didn't close properly), or your antivirus was scanning that file while you tried to launch the game. The fixes for these scenarios, respectively: close whatever you were editing the config with, reboot your computer, prevent your antivirus from scanning the FTB folder (or temporarily disable it).

Both of those indicate the same error as the first. Something has the file "EnderStorage.cfg" open. There's no way for me to know if it's a text editor, another Java instance, or your antivirus, you have to figure that out on your own. At least try rebooting your machine if you haven't done so yet.
