BlockID conflicts?

Best Answer dgelessus , 24 December 2013 - 10:00 PM

What mod(s) are you trying to copy over? Newer FTB packs come with quite a few configs for mods that aren't in the pack by default, so some may work on the fly. You should put the mods in one at a time so you know which one causes the conflict, and then use a NEI block ID dump to find free block IDs. There's no way to automatically allocate free block IDs to mods, except for a few that have a config option for that. These systems are usually not very reliable though, so you're usually better off setting them manually. Go to the full post »

Hey, i really like the mods in the new Monster pack, but the magic farm 2 pack has ones i want too, but every time i take em and put em in the monster pack, i get block id conflicts. ik i can fix them in the config, but ive spent the last half hour on one mod, and im wondering if there is any way for maybe forge to fix them for me? a setting? a mod? i dont mind spending the time, but if i cn save time and im not having to spam my niumpad, itd be nice. erm, help? thanks.
