i click the launch button when on direwolf20 1.6.4 and it just freezes and doesn't open the mojang screen or anything else. there are no error messages. it would be very helpful if someone could help me.

It takes a while to download, and even if you think it's already downloaded stuff and the download window closes, it's probably still downloading...

Just click it and wait five minutes or so. Then another download screen should come up and then wait another 15-45 minutes...

It takes a while to download, and even if you think it's already downloaded stuff and the download window closes, it's probably still downloading...
Just click it and wait five minutes or so. Then another download screen should come up and then wait another 15-45 minutes...

It's not necessarily all downloads, but something takes very long when you first launch any 1.6 pack.

Yeah me to but if i click the launch button it just works.

its going to the mojang screen and load every mod.

but then when the loading is done my FTB console and direwolf20 modpack auto closes

i set my launcher to reopen itself if it closed. and what i saw in the console was weird. it said-       [WARNING] [ForgeModLoader] The (mod's name here) does not have a MCVersion annotation, it may cause issues with this version of Minecraft.

i don't know  if any of you are getting the same problem. But that's what mine is...

 

 because mine is like ricks, but it doesnt even go into the mojang screen, i just hit launch, it waits a few seconds, then auto closes.

That's just something with the code of the mod, probably. Basically the mod (apparently) doesn't state which version of Minecraft it's for.

That's just something with the code of the mod, probably. Basically the mod (apparently) doesn't state which version of Minecraft it's for.


Is there any way to fix it? Because I am having the same problem.

The "MCVersion annotation" is not an error that would prevent the game from launching, it occurs every time the pack is launched, even successfully.

I'm also having a problem with the launcher, specifically with all 1.6.4 modpacks. I've done everything, re-installed java, re-installed the launcher, and re-downloaded the modpack, all several times. I decided to make an account and try posting my pastebin here. If anyone can spot the problem I would REALLY appreciate some help, I can't seem to find anyone else with this problem. All non-1.6.4 modpacks work, and they still do work even after all re-installing and re-downloading.

I have the same problem as Tasomatic and most of the people i start up the launcher and its fine the i try and launch the direwolf20 pack and the top where it says maps and options turns grey and i can't click on them and it doesn't launch. Ive played on the pack before but this just started happening after one time I was played on the pack and i placed and block and everything just closed please help!
