FTB Unleashed+OpenBlocks?

Best Answer timrem , 15 February 2014 - 01:14 AM

OpenBlocks{1.2.4}

You tried to install the latest version of the mod, which only works for Minecraft 1.6.4, into FTB Unleashed, which runs Minecraft 1.5.2. You'll need to find the appropriate older version of the mod to get it to work in Unleashed.

Is there any way for me to add OpenBlocks to the FTB Unleashed 1.1.7 pack? I tried to add the OpenBlocksLib to the coremods folder, and the OpenBlocks jar to the mods folder. When I try to load the game up, it loads the main menu, and says downloading terrain. Then it gives me an error. A ticking screen error. I just want to know if I can add the tanks and maybe the grate for XP.

Well, the new problem is, do I put the OpenModsLib into the Coremods folder or another one? I'm new to adding new mods in.

It's easy:

You don't need to. The core mods folder (at least on all the modpacks I've ever used) is just there for people who want to be more organized. If it's in the folder, it will function properly.

Hope this helps!

It used to be that you needed to put core mods in the CoreMods folder. But now since either 1.5 or 1.6 (not sure), you have to put it in the regular mods folder.

Actually I just put them into the pack folder, it doesn't matter.

I have tried.
