Hi i have been having this problem for a while now and its really starting to get on my nerves.  i am just going to post my last log  as there is 98 crash log's. the problem is when i load the mod it loads and runs for a few seconds then crashes, it will do this a few time before running fine.

i sometime get to the point where it will not load what so ever, and even remove my save game.

Thanks, for your input DiamondDoctor, but  i have already read this post and i am set as administrator of my account (PC). the issue i am having is with in the game loading the save games. FTB Loader works fine.

If you have an antivirus program, try excluding your pack's saves folder from scans and restart your computer. This is a common issue that many people appear to have had lately.

Looks like a problem with a chunkloader. Did you happen to place one at any point? Ive never had any problems with it but it looks like the guy above me is right an antivirus might be disabling that .DAT file from being read so it cant figure out what to do so it crashes. Might try and disable any antivirus, including microsoft security essentials, then boot it up and see.

hi diamonddoctor, i know is the problem with i chunkloader but can't work out why! Saw the last guy's post and there is no way i am disabling antivirus i using avg and have had no problems with vanilla minecraft launcher or Technic Launcher, so i don't think it is effecting the .DAT file.

 

update: i have now moved it to a new folder and moved my save games to that folder, it was saving the files to my downloads folder. i read on one of the posts buy a FTB tech  that this can cause the same issue i have been having. The new folder is on C:\FTB Launcher seems to be working. let you know after a couple loads if this work.

You don't have to disable your antivirus completely, just excluding your save folder from the scan should be enough. Almost all antivirus programs have that kind of option.

Just to let you know all know problem solved. i should be shot......... It was due to sharing of the download folder. I had the save file folder in my downloads utorrent keep trying to download it.. which suck!! As i own my minecraft,. Changing to a different folder solved the problem. just to let every one know if you download FTB Launcher make sure you create a new folder in c : drive. I have not programed in year, Exception in server tick loop, meant it was looking for update where there was none. so minecraft was in a continuous update mode. thus chunkloader error. hope this help others in similar procurement
