Say i wanted to retexture the hang glider from openblocks How and Could i do that?

Simply open up the openblocks jar file as an archive using winzip/WinRAR/7zip etc, browse to assets\openblocks\textures\models and extract and edit the hangglider png file. Put the edited file back inside the jar, and play the game.

Or make a resource pack containing just that one file. That way you won't lose it after every update and you don't have to modify the mod jar. For a guide on how to make resource packs, see this MCWiki page: http://minecraft.gam...a_Resource_Pack The procedure is the same with mod textures, just that you have to copy over from the mod jar instead of the minecraft.jar.

Well i tried adding a same size png and it turned into a purple and black square. i was shooting for a batwing and batman skin type thing. CHanging the hang glider to a black plus a batman or like logo

The purple and black squares are a placeholder for a missing or broken texture, in this case probably the latter. What program did you use to edit it, and did you save it back as a PNG? Mind uploading the file here so I can check if there is something wrong with it?

I feel kinda dumb..but how might one go about uploading one here? Should i host it somewhere else and link it?

Looking back on it, im sure its not the right size. Ill be greatful if someone can help me edit and create textures, so my mod im making wont be in all in purple and black.

I would definitely stay away from editing any mods directly. Resource packs can contain anything and everything now, so they're the best way to go.

My laptops like barely alive i would use em but it would kill my computer wih one texture changed it might not be bad
