does anyone know what will happen if I create a link book between the overworld and witchery's dreamworld. The dreamworld doesn't function quite the same as other dimensions (the moon/mystcraft ages/etc) in that it alters your inventory and leaves a player object in the overworld (your sleeping form). so... umm, yeah, don't wanna test it on the server if it'll cause an error.

Similarly, what if you visit the nether in the dreamworld? is that even possible??

erm, i dunno, but you can back up your world by simply copying your install folder from yout modpack to another location on your computer and if it workd, woohoo! If not, just replace the folder with the backup

I don't know what would happen, either. Have you considered making a creative singleplayer test world and trying it for yourself? If it bugs out, you won't lose anything of importance since you'll be in a throw-away world for the testing.
