So I'm starting a let's play in the vanilla skyblock map using feed the beast. I'm uploading the first 2 episodes now, I still have some stuff to work out with sound and such, the first 2 didn't end up being 720p either, but I should be able to fix that.

I'm considering the possibility of starting a lets play of my own, but I'm still unsure of whether I'll continue doing it for a while or not.

I'm sorry, but I was almost shouting at the screen when you placed the ice and the lava at the wrong sides. I guess you learned! Haha. Nice Let's Play anyhow.

 

I've been meaning to start a let's play of my own, but as I said before, my laptop cannot handle that.

It does seem that your videos also have quite a low FPS. When I try to record it guess it would go down to about 15 on a Skyblock, so I guess I could do it.

 

When I record The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, it's fine. The FPS is about 50.

I'm also not sure whether I'd have enough space for these.

Yeah, I still have some issues to work out, MC is crashing every now and then, and still have to figure out how to use Fraps properly. I've recorded episode 3, going to edit it now. 2 should be up soon.

 

EDIT: Looks like EP03 will be 720p as it should, audio is better as well, I edited the first 2 in camtasia studio (though I recorded them wiht fraps). I've switched to another program now with better audio filters.

NICE. What do you plan on doing with ftb and this map, cause in sky block you can't get many of the minerals needed for stuff. Although, you could get to the nether and farm gold so that you could do thaumcraft stuff, and then use the transmutation of base metals to turn gold into all the other metals, makeing it possible to do almost anything. If this seems like blabbering, then don't read it.

I havent quite figured out how to go about doing it. So far every method I've come up with has been impossible to do. But I'm sure I'll come up with something.

I mention that in my 3rd video actually, but afterwards I realized I need iron and gold for an inert stone, I'm not sure I will be able to get those in the nether, as I recall from the past, the portal is just floating in the middle of nowhere?

If you don't touch the bottom two layers of sand, they won't cause a block update to cause the thing to fall.

Ep 4 is quite an improvement compared to the previous videos, both in technical aspects and commentary-wise. Nice job RZR0.

 

Your cheaty ways are gonna get you some flack though. :b

In the future, dont hold a bucket when you dont need one.

 

Also, the first three iron you get from zombies should go to a bucket that you toss over the edge to repay for it.

Started using that in EP03, the biggest change was using the correct microphone (derp) and setting up fraps correctly

You were going to cheat when you didn't need to. XD

Also I noticed you had enough resources to make a redstone/stirling engine. Don't know what for though.

 

It says you have 7 videos but on your channel I could only find 5...
