Hi all,

 

Agrarian Skies is no longer showing up as one of the available modpacks in my FTB launcher.  I've tried closing the launcher and opening it again several times, restarting my computer, checking to see if it had somehow been deleted off my computer (it hadn't), increasing the available RAM (seemed like a long shot, but at that point I was getting pretty desperate), but none of these helped.  I haven't been able to find any information here, on the FTB support page or on Google that might shed some light on the situation, so if anyone here knows anything that could help I'd be pretty grateful.

 

I'm running version 1.3.14 of the launcher.  Not sure what other information might be helpful here, since I'm pretty new to modding etc., so please let me know if there's some other information I could post.

FTB recently split the list of modpacks into 2 lists: FTB Packs, and 3rd Party Packs. Agrarian Skies is a 3rd Party Pack, which appears in a separate tab on the FTB launcher. Since you're not running the latest version of the launcher, it's possible that you can no longer access 3rd party packs: simply update your launcher (to v1.4.3 or newer), and access Agrarian Skies through the 3rd Party Packs tab.

Any suggestions for those of us that can't run the 1.4 version of the launcher?

 

A week ago the list was split when I downloaded 1.4.3 but I could stiill acess the packs with 1.3.14, including Agrarian Skies.

 

As documented by a few people, the 1.4.3 version of the launcher crashes on some machines while launching any pack. As of last week the only know workaround was to use a 1.3 instance of the launcher, and everyhting worked fine.

like 20 minutes ago i was able to view the Ag Skies mod pack, however, was getting and error message "Authlib Unavailable." i closed the launcher and reopened after awhile and Ag Skies is no longer on Mod Pack list. I've tried switching to 3rd party filter and the only pack that comes up is Hat Pack. Updating my launcher isn't really an option being that my internet is slow since i live in the country. Is there anything else i can try before resorting to waiting hours for launcher update?

AgSky should appear under the 3rd Party Packs tab. Make sure you're not filtering on anything else.

 

It could also be that, with your slow Internet connection, the pack list didn't load properly. Try using the 'paste to pastebin' link in the FTB console and providing that link here, so we can see what the FTB Launcher says is going on.
