Try following these instructions for running FTB using Java 7, and see if it helps.

I was in an Agrarian skies test world, and i was trying to see if i could automate a blacksmith's anvil. I fell out of the world and died, and lost all my stuff. I enabled keepInventory and then went into NEI and with the amount of items to spawn in being 0 (the member below NEI which decides how much of something is to be spawned; if it is 0, it gives a stack) and clicked on supreme pizza while in cheat mode so i would have some food and wouldn't starve mid-testing. However, clicking on the supreme pizza caused the pack to crash. I tried to launch Agrarian Skies, and it instantly closed the launcher and console after a flurry of text so fast i had no chance of reading any of it. The same happened when trying to launch Crash Landing. Those are the only 2 packs that i have that are both downloaded and up-to date, so those are the only ones i have tried to launch currently. I was wondering if there is a better way to fix it than re-installing the FTB launcher, and if even that would work.

i clicked force update and tried to re-launch Agrarian Skies and now every time i click launch, it says downloading modpack, but doesn't actually do anything.

Anyways, to the more important stuff. Found the crash log.

Also, by setting the launcher to automatically open after closing, i got what happens in the console

Don't know if this helps at all, but vanilla Minecraft on the Minecraft launcher works fine

Was going to delete this post and add this to the first one, but i don't know how to delete a post, so...

Also,  off-topic, how do i unlike a post? I was reading through the forums and it said not to like your own posts (which i did) so i wanted to undo it.

For some reason on some subforums you can't unlike posts. Don't know why...

Try maybe deleting your player.dat. Make sure to back up your world, of course.

Hope I helped!

kingskybomber14, did you recently update to Java 8? Because we've been getting several people recently with problems launching packs, and the only apparent cause is that FTB packs only like Java 7.
