Best way to repair items

Hi,

 

I played the last version of the mod pack and used ars magic to repair all my items (including mob drops etc).

 

As Ars isn't in this version whats the best way for me to achieve this now, I don't want to spend levels etc with the anvil but power or magic etc is ok

Ars Magica had an amazing repair system that I definitely would miss...

I don't think there is anything else that can compare.

The Thaumic Restorer should be the closest replacement to the Ars Arcane Reconstructor, and should be in the 1.7 Pack. It requires some Thaumcraft research and you'll need to provide essentia, but I believe it repairs items in the same manner as the Ars device.

Oh cool I need to look more into the new Thaumic Tinkerer then!

The old one was kinda meh but this new one seems pretty cool.
