this site will not allow me to attach photos either, as i have two screen shots showing my issue. daybloom and nightshade are both not showing up in my book that you guys provide, or in the creative mode menu. i have pulled all other mods out of my mods folder, and they are still not showing up. any idea what is causing this on both of my computers?

This one's pretty simple: You're running an up-to-date version of Botania. Vazkii (the author) recently removed dayblooms and nightshades from his mod entirely. He also changed the recipe for endoflames.

Thank you I appreciate it, as I couldn't find this answer anywhere and this was the first time i had played this mod. in the showcase it looked like one of the main flowers you had to use.

He finally removed those?
He has been talking about removing them for ages since he felt they were too OP and he even nerfed them drastically fairly recently by giving them a wilting time limit.
You can check through the config text file though because there might be a way to turn it back on.
