Hey guys on the server I play on we generated a pretty poor seed.  After searching for over 4 hours in thousands of blocks in each direction, I could not find a single cactus let alone a desert biome.  Waterproof piping is proving to be a bottleneck for the game.  I understand that waterproofing can be made from slimes, but we cannot get it in the amounts we need.

 

I am looking to use ProjectE (the updated version of equivalent exchange) to get a piece of cactus so I can start a farm.  Does anyone know the recipe?

ProjectE doesn't seem to be included in FTB Revelation modpack. If you are playing on this pack, you can use Alchemy Catalyst from Botania to turn Slimeball into Cactus.

Thank you for trying.  At this point we have it figured out and have more Slimes (and cactus) than we could ever use.

 

On another note, I have a few threads on here with minimal replies.  In fact, this entire forum is all but dead.  Do you know why?
