I've been playing minecraft using the "M" key to place blocks ever since I got the game, yeah, kinda odd but there is a mod using the "M" key that's not able to be changed inside of the game I don't think. It's stopping me from being able to play well. Any direction as to what I can do to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for looking over the post, I could really use some help.

When you press M, what happens? Without knowing what mod is affecting the binding of this key, we can't do anything to help you.
Also, a word of advice: please don't "like" your own posts. Thanks.

Try going into Controls and then changing the Mode Switch Key, which defaults to M, and also the key for opening up VoxelMap, which also defaults to M. You must press M to open the VoxelMap menu before changing the bindings for VoxelMap keys. Otherwise, you could try binding M to the place-blocks key, then check if the M is red. If so, it indicates that there is another conflicting keybinding that you can change from the Controls menu. Search for other red Ms and change them, then try to place blocks.
If none of that works, I don't know what to tell you.

I did all that before and I don't think it's anything I can fix in-game but more so somewhere in the files. Thanks for working with me to try and fix it anyways. I'll still be looking around to find something to fix it.

I'm kind of curious, why would you want to use 'm' to place blocks anyway?
Do you play without a mouse?
