It appeears I may lose my FTB Ultimate pack world due to an error ( I wouldn't like to bring this up; I have a different forum discussion about that) so I'm wondering which world you guys think is the best. I've only played FTB Ultimate. Just feel free to spread your opinions about all the packs.

Unleashed is very easy due to DartCraft. Unhinged is very difficult as it's designed by GregoriousT, designer of GregTech. Direwolf20... IDK. Never done that one before. Personally, I'd say Unleashed if you want to be a god very quickly, Unhinged if you want to have a sense of great achievement every time you do literally anything, or probably Direwolf20 for an experience close to Ultimate.

The Direwolf20 1.5 Pack has a lot of unique mods that most other packs don't have, although it does not have either DartCraft or GregTech.

 

I don't really like Unhinged, as I've learned that some of the useful and fun mods (i.e. Advanced Solars, BiblioCraft, ComputerCraft, Equivalent Exchange 3, Extra Utilities, GraviSuite, Gravity Gun, Logistics Pipes, MiscPeripherals, MFFS, Natura, Nether Ores, NOT ENOUGH ITEMS, Obsidian Pressure Plates, Portal Gun, Power Converters, Soul Shards, Thaumcraft, Thermal Expansion, Xeno's Reliquary) are not present in that. Even NEI is not in Unhinged! I like GregTech and want GregTech, but it's only available in the pack I do not like, so I'm sorry, Greg.

 

Unleashed is good, too. But I think I prefer Direwolf20, possibly.

Well, I watch alot of direwolf20 videos and he does some cool stuff so if my world is gone forever I'll move to the direwolf pack. Thanks for the opinions

Yeah, I've watched a few of them, and I think I like it best.

The Direwolf20 1.5 Pack has a lot of unique mods that most other packs don't have, although it does not have either DartCraft or GregTech.

For what I've seen in the mod pack comparison, Unleashed has almost everything DW20 1.5 has, plus a bunch more. For a while, it didn't have Hats (which DW20 1.5 did), but now it does.

 

Personally I prefer Unleashed, simply because there's so many things to play with. DW20 1.5 was neat, but anticipating the upcoming world reset, I left it to play Unleashed.

 

And yes, I do miss gregtech - or the gregtech that I used to know, but it's changed now and it's no longer about the challenge of working your way up to a fusion reactor. Now it's the struggle of working your way up to an iron pickaxe.

I think Unleashed is the best by far. It has a large variety of mods that work with each other quite well.
