XP Farm Turtle Soul Shards Brain in a Jar

After updating to the newest version, mod pack 5.1.1,  I have found that my XP Farm (Turtle/Soul Shards/Brain in a Jar) does not work the way it previously did.  Now the turtle does not attack/kill every mob that drops in front of it. 

 

Any ideas on what could be the issue here?

Oh yes computercraft had a really stupid update. When you program it with a while loop and end it, it saids it does not end and it will stop. I forgot how to use a for loop.
