Hey all,

 

I'm new to editing the wiki, and so let me say I may be completely missing something that is already there. I am trying to work on pages for RotaryCraft since information on the mod seems to be lacking or scattered at best. I noticed that for crafting grid recipes the final machines don't have any images to use. I have no idea how to make these images or add them to the website. Can anyone help me with how to add those images, or add them themselves?

Screenshot them in game and cut them out.

Because of this is why we have so few images atm sadly...

Yes, making screenshots is the easiest way to do it. You should then resize the images to be 32 * 32 pixels, so they fit the crafting grids, and then upload them with the name "Grid BLOCKNAME.png". Replace BLOCKNAME with the block or item name and make sure it is a PNG file, so the crafting grids automatically load it.

 

The wiki's main administrator, RZR0, also has a bot program that automatically creates these images. He doesn't let it run very often though, I'll contact him and see if he could have it upload these images.

Well, automatically is a big word, still involves some manual labor I was already working on uploading images for RotaryCraft, but I'm very busy at the moment, so I haven't finished yet. I'll try to do more as soon as possible.

Also, if anyone is willing to have a look at finishing the navigation template, that would be superb. I have like 90-95% of the images for the mod uploaded now. Will finish the remaining items soon.

Thanks for the replies everyone,and thank you for the uploads RZR0. I'll try and get some pages completed as I have time to write them. Don't know anything about the navagation template, so I cant really help you there.

 

The only other thing I would really want to do is get in touch with Rekia and pick his dragon brain about some objects in ReactorCraft that don't seem to have real obvious use, like the Aluminum Chloride blocks/dust.

There's just a couple more items I have to upload images for. Mainly slurries and such for most minerals and metals, but also the bedrock armor, because the latter crashed the game for me when I spawned them from NEI.

 

EDIT: All images for RotaryCraft except for the bedrock armor have been uploaded. I'm still crashing when I try to spawn the bedrock item parts.
