I just looked through some of the pages of ExtraUtilities and i find it very hard to get the information relevant for me (instead I'm just feeding my jealousy of users of newer packs ), as there is no distinction in what version introduced the item. As far as i can see the major differences probably lie between the ExtraUtilities versions for MC 1.5.2 and MC 1.6.4. I think seperate nav-boxes would be kinda good, as there is probably a lot of added items and only few changes in behaviour.
What do you think about it?
Also i wanted to ask, especially RZR0 i suppose, if there has been any development on the topic of parameterizing the information in general. Like the idea of a system which could dynamically show/hide information of a page, based on a chosen modpack. Perhaps we could already start to lay some structures to put the information in. For example, the Item Template (http://ftbwiki.org/Template:Item/doc) which already has a field for the source mod, could be expanded to hold the version which introduced the item, and if needed in which version it was disbanded or replaced, with a link to the replacing mechanic (e.g. Forestry: Arboretum -> MultiFarms).
Also i think some very small templates to indicate that information is probably highly version specific (for example for bugs, or to enhance discussion in face of contradicting edits) could be useful. That way it would be easier to find/modify the pages later by bots.
